KUNDUZ: The officials of Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) met Kunduz Governor Abdul Jabbar Naeemi on Tuesday and said they wanted to establish a 50-bed hospital in the province.
On the occasion, head of MSF said currently they were running two health clinics in Kunduz. However, they were unable to fulfill the needs of people. She hoped that the government officials would help MSF in the healthcare services to establish a 50-bed hospital in the province.
Hundreds of critical patients had been provided treatment at the health clinics on a daily basis, she added.
Kunduz Governor Abdul Jabbar Naeemi lauded the services of MSF and assured the visiting official that all-out efforts would be utilized to pave way for good affairs with relief and donor agencies. He urged the MSF head to motivate other agencies to open offices in Kunduz and serve the people.
