Muslim unity threat to US monopoly: Iranian CG

PESHAWAR: The Iranian Consul General in Peshawar, Hamid Raza Ghomni said Friday that United States of America never welcomed developing relations among Islamic countries, especially between Iran and Saudi Arabia, adding US believes that unity of Muslim countries has been a threat to its monopoly.

He was speaking to a delegation of journalists, here at Peshawar, and said that US has been spreading anarchy among Muslim countries.

He said that heads of some Muslim countries have been suffering US pressure which depicts that they are being slaves.

The journalists’ delegation was led by KhUJ president Fida Khattak, in other journalists Muhammad Naeem, Alamgir Khan, Nasir Hussain, Abid Khan, Kashif Ud Din, Dawood Khan, Azmatullah, and columnist Ziaul Haq Sardi were present on the occasion.

He maintained that the stance of Iran on Kashmir issue has been very vivid, saying Iran has been standing by the Kashmiri people.

“The stance of Iran on Kashmir issue has revealed its impacts on the oil trade between Iran and India,” he said.

Iranian Consul General Hamid Raza stated that Iran has always been raised voice against terrorism and terrorists adding that Iran has been opposing terrorism especially on state level.

He said that Qasim Sulemani was targeted as he was trying to bring Iran and Saudi closer which US could not afford.
