F.P. Report

ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has summoned former federal minister and Awami Muslim League leader Sheikh Rashid Ahmad in connection with National Crime Agency 189 million pounds case.

The NAB issued the call-up notice on Wednesday, ordering the AML chief to appear in its office at 12:30 pm on May 24.

Sheikh Rashid was also directed to bring along documents related to the case.

In reaction, Sheikh Rashid taunted that he was grateful to the NAB for considering him worthy of 190 million pounds case.

He said the police have been conducting raids in Islamabad and Rawalpindi to arrest him. He predicted that there would be “decisions” before June 15 and the law and the Constitution will triumph.
