Nawaz, Maryam likely to appear before court on Dec 19

LAHORE: Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz returned to Pakistan Sunday morning and they are expected to appear before the court on December 19 in the corruption references.

Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz were in London to meet the ailing Kulsoom Nawaz who is undergoing chemotherapy in London.

Former premier had departed for London on December 4 after the court given him and Maryam exemption from appearing before the court to see his ailign wife in London.

The last hearing for the case was conducted on the 11th and the next will be held on December 19, in which both Nawaz and Maryam are expected to appear before the court.
