NDS Special Forces seize massive cache of weapons, munitions of Taliban in Kabul

KABUL: The NDS Special Forces seized a massive cache of weapons and munitions belonging to Taliban group in Kabul.

The National Directorate of Security (NDS) in a statement said the NDS Special Forces discovered the cache in Paghman district.

The statement further added that the Special Forces of the Directorate seized 52 RPG rockets, 38 RPG boosters, 16 rounds of 82mm mortars, 5 Ak-47 rifles, 1000 rounds of Ak-47 ammunitions, 9 boxes of PKM ammunitions and a large quantity of other military kits.

The National Directorate of Security also added that the Talibjan militants were looking to use the weapons and munitions to stage attacks in Kabul city.
