Needy families in Kabul concerned as winter looms

KABUL (Ariana News): As the winter season approaches, most needy families are worried about the worsening of their living conditions.
These families say although the cold season has arrived, they have not been able to buy fuel to heat their homes in the winter due to economic problems.
In addition to other problems, they do not even have the economic ability to meet their basic needs.
The Ministry of Economy meanwhile accepts the economic problems in the country, it emphasizes that they have plans to control the situation and improve the economic situation of the people.
“To overcome economic challenges and eradicate poverty, the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has various programs, including developing exports, strengthening Afghanistan’s transit position, supporting regional projects, as well as developing trade with neighboring countries and the region, and finally, launching large-scale job-creating projects inside the country is one of the most important of these programs,” said Abdul Latif Nazari, deputy minister of economy.
Based on the statistics of international institutions, about 28 million Afghan citizens are struggling with economic problems and need humanitarian assistance.
In addition, the process of forced deportation of Afghan immigrants from Pakistan continues and this issue can expand the humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan.
