Nuclear submarine “Krasnoyarsk” will be launched in Severodvinsk on July 30

MOSCOW (TASS): Project 885M Yasen-M nuclear submarine missile cruiser Krasnoyarsk will be launched on July 30 in At present, Sevmash has seven project 885M submarines at various stages of construction. The lead nuclear submarine of project 885M “Kazan” was handed over to the Russian Navy on May 7. “The Krasnoyarsk nuclear submarine missile cruiser will be solemnly launched on July 30 in Severodvinsk at the Sevmash enterprise. The launching ceremony will be held under the leadership of the Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy, Admiral Nikolai Yevmenov,” the ministry said.

It is noted that the preparation of the Krasnoyarsk for the descent is now being completed at Sevmash. The readiness of the nuclear submarine will soon be reported to the commander-in-chief of the Navy.

The Ministry of Defense recalled that earlier Evmenov made a planned working trip to Severodvinsk. The main point of the program of his trip was a meeting at Sevmash dedicated to the delivery program for 2021.
