One dead, seven injured in Karachi building fire

KARACHI: One person was killed and seven others sustained severe injuries as fire engulfed building in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi, on Thursday.

According to reports, the fire suddenly erupted after which one person jumped off the building and died whereas seven others sustained burns while trying to escape the place with rope.

The team used Pakistan Navy helicopter to rescue the people stranded on building’s roof.

Moreover, the fire has been extinguished.
