One killed in Mazar-e-Sharif explosion

KABUL: One person was killed in a explosion on Thursday morning in Mazar-e-Sharif city of Afghanistan.

Police said that one person was killed in the blast and the investigation was started of the incident.

An eyewitness told local media that the target was a former jihadi commander who was passing through the area of Mazar-e-Sharif city and the former jihadi commander was on his way to breakfast at the Mansour Restaurant when the explosion occurred.

According to an eyewitness, two people were wounded in the incident.
