Six persons killed in gunmen attack in Laghman

JALALABAD: At least six people including policeman were killed after gunmen attacked the house of a police official in Laghman province.

Laghman governor’s spokesman Sarhadi Zwak told local media persons that gunmen attacked the house of a police, in Sung Toda area in provincial capital Mehterlam.

He added that two brothers of the policeman and four gunmen were killed in the gunfight. The brothers of the decease had no government jobs.

The armed opponents have not said anything so far regarding the incident.
