Online education best way to provide education in lockdown situation: President

ISLAMABAD: President Arif Alvi has said online education is the best and easiest way to provide education to the students.

He made the remarks during his visit to TeleSchool Project in Islamabad on Thursday.

The President declared as impressive and important the TeleSchool project launched to enable the students get education from homes in the current lockdown situation.

The President said the online education enables the students to review and revisit the lectures which is not possible in the lectures given by teachers in the class room.

Arif Alvi appreciated the steps taken by the government to bring improvement in the education sector. He said it is a matter of satisfaction that the provinces have also been taken on board on the matter.

Earlier, Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood briefed the President about the Tele School project. He said this project will be taken forward and a mechanism is being developed to get the feedback of teachers and students in order to further improve this system.
