DUBAI: Former Chief of Army Staff of Pakistan, General (Rtd) Raheel Sharif has said that the Muslim world has been facing several challenges and the biggest threat to our foundation is the organized terrorism.
He said while addressing to the Middle East Military Alliances and Coalitions Conference (MEMAC) as it is the part of the Bahrain International Defence Exhibition and Conference (BIDEC) 2017.
Raheel Sharif, head of the Islamic Military Counter-Terrorism Coalition, said that it is a great honor to be part of this military coalition and leading it from the front.
He claimed that Al-Qaeda are paying $400 while fighters of Daesh are getting $700 and adding that terrorist organization like Al-Qaeda, Daesh and Boko Haram are targeting Middle East, South Asia and Africa.
Regarding the Pakistan sacrifices in war against terrorism, Raheel Sharif said that Pakistan has done more than any other country and in the fight against terrorism to ensure the regional security and global peace.
