Sharif family respects law, courts: Marriyum Aurangzeb

ISLAMABAD: State Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Marriyum Aurangzeb said that former prime Nawaz Sharif had requested immunity from the court because of his wife illness.

This she said while talking to media persons outside the accountability court on Thursday. She said that despite registering false cases still Sharif family appearing before the court which is the biggest example of how the Sharif family is giving respect to the legal institutions.

She added that Maryam Nawaz appeared before the court on the direction of her father as he also respect the court despite that her mother Kulsoom Nawaz is ill and she needs to be with her mother.

She rejected the rumors that Sharif wanting to escape from the cases and adding that PML-N believes in rule of law and supremacy of constitution.
