Pak army sets up free medical camp in Maidan

TIMERGARA: The Pakistan army Maidan Battalion on Wednesday set up a free medical camp at Koro Bagh in the restive Maidan area of Lower Dir which once was the most militancy affected area.

A total of 900 patients including women and children were provided free medical care and medicines. The Commandant Dir Task Force Colonel Shehzad Amir, Lt. Colonel Umar Rashid Chaudhry and others officers visited the camp and expressed satisfaction on the arrangements.

Speaking on the occasion Colonel Shehzad Amir said that people of far flung areas in Dir were facing difficulties in getting medical care. He said the Pakistan army had planned to provide free medical facilities to poor people of remote areas on their door step. He said the series would continue in future too.
