Pakistan cancels talks with US in protest: Khawaja Asif

ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Khawaja Aisf has said Pakistan suspended negotiations with America in a protest over the President Trump allegations against Pakistan.

He said this while informing the Senate regarding the Pakistan stance over the recent US allegations. US Special Secretary of State for South Asia Alice Wells was expected to be arrive on Tuesday and the Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif was to travel to US on a scheduled visit but it was cancelled after the Trump allegations.

Khawaja Asif informed the Senate that there was no military role for Indian in the New US policy and adding that it was only offering support in economic development. Sources told that Khawaja claimed this and informed the Senate during the in-camera session.

Khawaja Asif added that Indian would not be allowed to enter in the Afghanistan and use it against Pakistan.
