ISLAMABAD: Foreign Office Spokesman, Dr Muhammad Faisal has said India politician needs to stop dragging Pakistan into its electoral debate and rejected the baseless allegations of interfering in the Indian election.
This he said while posted a statement on twitter on Monday. Dr Faisal said this in Indian PM, allegation in which he said that Pakistan interfering in the Gujarat elections.
PM claimed that a former Pakistan Army officer is supporting the Congress leader Ahmed Patel to win the election and become a chief minister of Gujarat. However the congress criticized the Modi remarks and termed in baseless and irresponsible and demanded an apology for leveling baseless allegations.
As per the Indian media, the second and last phase of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly elections will be held on Thursday, bringing an end to a bitter political campaign between the two major Indian political rivals and the results are expected on December 18.
