PIA will launch flight operation to Australia from April 22

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) will launch the flight operations to Australia from April 22, on Thursday.

There will be direct flights from Lahore to Sydney on Friday. Flights from Sydney to Lahore will be operated on Sunday.

Direct flights to Sydney will save time and provide the passengers with the facility of carrying more luggage with them.

For Sydney, economy class passengers will be allowed to carry 45 kg, while business economy passengers will be allowed to carry 55 kg.

PIA Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Air Marshal Arshad Malik, while reviewing the finalization of flight operations arrangements, directed the marketing and front line teams to provide the best services to the passengers.

PIA has planned to expand its network after easing COVID-19 restrictions on the aviation industry, recently launched flights from Karachi and Lahore to Baku. The national airline has also planned to add more locations to its network.
