PM Abbasi to inaugurate coal power plant in Port Qasim today

KARACHI: Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi will inaugurate a coal power plant under China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) in Port Qasim in Karachi on Wednesday (today).

In order to improve the law and order situation in Karachi, Premier Abbasi will also chair a meeting in a one day visit to Karachi.

Earlier on Monday, PM Abbasi met King Salman of Saudi Arabi during his visit to Saudi Arabia, in which both leaders of prominent Muslim countries discussed the bilateral relations as well as international issues of mutual interest.

The prime minister was accompanied by Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa and Director General of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Lt Gen Naveed Mukhtar.
