PM Abbasi meets Sharif in London

LONDON  – Prime Minister Shaid Khaqan Abbasi on Sunday met former premier Nawaz Sharif in London.

According to details, Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq were also present on the occasion.

The meeting is expected to take significant decisions over the current political situation in the country.

The former prime minister is in London these days with his ailing wife Kulsoom Nawaz who was diagnosed with throat cancer last month after which she underwent a surgery. She is also PML-N’s contestant for NA-120 by-election currently underway in Lahore.

It is reported that many other Pakistan Mulsim League-Nawaz (PML-N) members will reach London to meet Nawaz.

After meeting the former prime minister, PM Shahid Khaqan Abbasi will leave for US to address the 72nd United Nations General Assembly session to be held on September 20.
