Three died as oil tanker catches fire in Kot Addu

MUZAFFARGARH: At least three persons were died when a oil tanker caught fire in Kot Addu area of Muzaffargar district here on Sunday morning.

As per the rescue sources, the fire erupted in the oil tanker when the welding works was continue in the tankers and the fire also destroyed four other shops. The incident was happened near thermal power house.

Rescue officials told that the some of the injured persons were in critical condition and may be the death toll could rise as all the injured were shifted to nearest hospital.

The fire spread rapidly, engulfed the motorcycles, rickshaws present near the scene and shops located in the surroundings.

Fire fighters along with fire tenders rushed the scene and started efforts to extinguish the blaze.
