PM Abbasi should stop disrespecting the Senate: Kaira

F.P. Report

CHINIOT: Former Federal Minister and Senior leader of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Qamar Zaman Kaira has said that Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi should show some respect and stopped disrespecting the senate.

Kaira said this while addressing a press conference on Sunday. He criticized the premier Shahid Khaqan Abbasi for using disrespectful words for Chairman Senate and its newly elected members over horse-trading allegations.

Regarding the meeting of Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Mian Saqib Nisar and the prime minister, Kaira remarked that the PM should share details of the meeting to end the speculations.

Criticizing former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, Kaira remarked that Nawaz lied while speaking in the National Assembly about his assets. “Supreme Court’s verdict states that Nawaz Sharif is a liar.”

The courts punish all those who break the law, Kaira added.
