PML-N destroying entire system of country, says Zardari

F.P. Report

LAHORE: Former President and Co-Chairman of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Asif Ali Zardari said the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) is destroying the entire system of the country for the sake of one person.

Zardari said this while speaking to party members at Bilawal House Lahore. The former president said PPP will not contact with the ruling PML-N in the present circumstances as they were trying to destroy the entire system of the country by trying to malign the institutions.

Zardari assured the party members that there would be no contact and assistance to PML-N as their reconciliation policy was only for democracy not for Nawaz Sharif or any individual.

PPP gives many sacrifices for democracy, however the PML-N government is wasting those efforts by destroying democracy and adopting confrontation way with the institutions, Zardari added.

Regarding the cases against Nawaz Sharif, he said that he faced false cases in the courts which were filed by the PML-N government, now Nawaz Sharif needs to face the real cases in courts. Instead of fighting the cases in courts, he (Nawaz) started fight with the court.
