KARACHI: At least six suspected persons including a drug peddler were arrested in crackdown conducted by police in different parts of the city on Thursday night.
The private news channel reported that police arrested a notorious drug peddler identified as Rasheed Babu along with two other accomplices in jurisdiction of Aziz Bhatti police station of Karachi. Police also recovered over 40 kilograms of hash from their possession.
Police told that the accused were shifting the narcotics to Shanti Nagar area in a rickshaw.
Similarly, police also arrested three accused including a police official during raids in different parts of Shah Faisal Colony and the arrested were involved in cases of murder, rape and several street crimes.
