Power import contract renewed

KABUL (Agencies): Da Afghan Breshna Sherkat extended the electricity contract for the year 2023 with the National Electricity Company of Tajikistan.
The Director of Information and publications of the Ministry of Energy and Water, Ghulam Jilani Haqparast said that a contract was extended for the import of power supply with a national Electricity Company of Tajikistan.”
The contract was signed in the presence of Abdul Latif Mansoor, Acting Energy, and Water Minister, between Mullah Muhammad Hanif Hamza, Chief Executive Officer of Breshna Company, and Mohammad Omar Aesozada, Chairman of National Electricity Company of Tajikistan.
Meanwhile, the Afghan Ministry of Energy and Water lately extended the electricity import contract from Uzbekistan for another year.
