F.P. Report

TIMERGARA:  Pakistan People Party leader and former federal minister Najam ud Din Khan has said his party would strongly agitate changes in 18th constitutional amendment and name of Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP).

The former Safron minister was addressing a party gathering at Zain house Sarai Payeen Talash here on Monday. The PPP workers from different areas of Lower Dir attended the event which was also addressed by former state minister Malik Azmat Khan, former provincial ministers Bakht Baidar Khan, Mehmood Zeb Khan, former MPA advocate Muhammad Zamin and others.

The speakers criticized the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and alleged that it had lost the credibility as a national institution. They said that NAB and its laws were being used for political victimization of opposition parties. The speakers said that Prime Minister Imran Khan too wanted to defame and degrade opposition leaders through NAB.

Najam ud Din said the PPP was arranging a big gathering at the residence of former provincial minister Mehmood Zeb Khan at Timergara on April, 4 to observe Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto anniversary. He asked the participants to attend that event so as to make it a power show.
