KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman, Bilawal Bhutto Zardar has said that PPP will stand with democracy and will not allow anyone to derail the democracy in the country.
Bilawal said this while chairing a party meeting at the Bilawal House here on Sunday in which Asif Ali Zardari, Khursheed Shah and Murad Ali Shah were in the attendance.
Bilawal emphasized that hisparty will always stand with democratic institutions in the country. The announcement came after the Islamabad operation and protests erupting across the Pakistan.
Leadership of PPP demanded from the government to fulfill its constitution requirements and blamed the government for not handling the situation in Islamabad correctly.
On the occasion, Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah also briefed the meeting that the security situation in the province was under control.
