KABUL: President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani on Sunday left for London earlier Sunday on an official invitation of the government of United Kingdom.
The Office of the President, ARG Palace, in a statement said President Ghani will meet with the British officials during his visit to the country.
The statement further added that President Ghani will also watch the upcoming world cup match between Afghanistan and United Kingdom.
The match is scheduled for 18th of June and will be played in Manchester city of the United Kingdom.
This comes as the Afghan team has so far not succeeded to score any victory in ongoing World Cup matches.
The Afghan team has played four matches against Australia, Sri Lanka, New Zealand and South Africa and has lost all four matches. (Khaama Press)
