HAFIZABAD: Primary school teachers took out a procession to protest against non-payment of their salaries for the past eight months and have called upon the authorities to ensure prompt payment to save their families from likely starvation.
The protestors led by Irfan Kashif President Primary School Teachers Association, the protestors raised slogans against the authorities for their indifferent attitude. They said that they were recruited in the education department eight months ago and since then the department has not taken any step to arrange for the payment of their salaries. They appealed to the authorities to ensure early payment to relieve them from mental agony.
