KARACHI: Karachi Kings, team of Pakistan Super League (PSL) announced Pakistan’s all-rounder Imad Wasim as the new captain of the team for the third season.
All rounder Imad Wasim, will take the captaincy from the Sri Lankan great Kumar Sangakkara as he was released from the squad by Karachi Kings team. Imad Wasim is overall the fourth captain for Karachi Kings in PSL. Shoaib Malik led the side during most of the first season’s matches but stepped aside and handed over the captaincy to England’s Ravi Bopara.
The President of Karachi Kings franchise, Shahid Afridi announced the appointment of Imad Wasim as a captain of the franchise. Afridi also announced that he’ll play as a normal player under Imad’s captaincy.
Imad said that it was an honor to become captain of a franchise team.
