PTI should apologize before contacting MQM-P: Khursheed Shah

F.P. Report

SUKKUR: Opposition Leader Syed Khursheed Shah has said it is the democratic right of every political party to bring its own candidate for the opposition but the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) should apologize to the MQM-P leaderships for the accusations that they leveled against it in the past.

Shah said that PTI embarrassed itself by approaching MQM-P and asked support for electing the candidate of PTI as opposition leader in the national assembly.

This he said while talking to local journalists at Sukkur on Monday. Shah added that it would be a good development if there is anyone better to replace him for the position.

Khursheed Shah added that some forces trying to play a drama in the country with the aim to destabilize the parliament but PPP will not be a part of any drama and will continue to work for the development of the democracy in the country.

It is worthy to be mentioned here that PTI has started making efforts to replace Opposition Leader in the National Assembly with its own member, Shah Mehmood Qureshi and in this regard they started back door contacts with MQM as it was biggest force in the national assembly to play a role in changing the opposition leader in the house.
