Punjab CM leaves for China on five-day official visit

LAHORE (NNI): Punjab Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi left for China along with a high-level delegation on a five-day official visit.
The acting Chinese consul general saw the Punjab chief minister off at Lahore Airport. He expressed good wishes for the chief minister regarding his visit to China.
“It is hoped that your visit to China will be crucial for the promotion of mutual cooperation,” the acting Chinese consul general said.
Provincial ministers and officers concerned were also present on the occasion. The chief minister will meet the businessmen, investors and industrialists during his visit to China.
He will also hold meetings with Chinese authorities to increase cooperation in Agriculture, IT and technology sectors.
“The visit to China will provide an opportunity to provide better facilities to the people of Punjab,” Mohsin Naqvi said.
“China has always acted as a sincere friend. All efforts are being made to bring immediate and lasting results of this visit,” he added.
