NAROWAL: Minister for Religious Affairs and Inter-faith harmony, Maulana Noor-ul-Haq Qadiri has said people belonging to all the faiths are enjoying equal rights and can perform their rituals and rites according to their faith in a free atmosphere in the country.
He was talking to media persons after visiting Gurdawara Darbar Sahib at Kartarpur in Narowal today.
Minister for Religious Affairs and Inter-faith harmony, Maulana Noor-ul-Haq Qadiri said the followers of all faith will be allowed to worship at the Gurdawara with the permission of the Sikh community.
The Minister reviewed the arrangements for the Sikh pilgrims and monitored the progress of work on the Kartarpur Corridor. He said that thirty-five percent construction work has been completed on the project.
The Minister said that he would go to the working boundary to inspect the ongoing work. He said work on the corridor will be completed by the next birth anniversary of Baba Guru Nanak.
