KARACHI: At least three suspected persons were arrested by Rangers and recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition in an operation conducted in a house in Rizvia Society area of Karachi on Monday.
Rangers Spokesman told media that the arrested persons were identified as Azam Abbas, Amir Abbas and Asif and they were involved in illegal trade of weapons in the provincial capital.
He added that Rangers recovered weapons including G3 rifle, four small machine guns (SMGs), two 7mm rifles, M4 rifles, .22 rifle, .22 pistol, six 9mm pistols, five 12 bore pistols, four 30 bore, a 32 bore pistol and a 38 bore pistol.
Moreover, about 2,159 rounds of different weapons were also seized from the suspect’s possession.
