Residents demand action against SHO

MARDAN: A resident of Palo Dhari Spenkai along with other relatives demanded of the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to take departmental action against Station House Officer of Chura Police Station for not registering FIR against accused persons.

Speaking at a news conference held here on Tuesday, Badal Khan accompanied by his other relatives said that his opponents Mubarik Zeb, Bakhtayar Zeb along with their sons on November 19, 2017 critically injured his sons identified as Nasir Khan with knife over a land dispute. He further said that his son received deep injuries on his nose and other parts of body as a result attacks by the above mentioned accused with knife.

He blamed that the station house officer (SHO) of Chura police station refused to register first information report (FIR) against the accused when he went over there for registration of report.

He said that the relevant doctors of  Mardan Medical Complex (MMC) had referred his injured son to Lady Reading Hospital (LRH) Peshawar when they took him to MMC hospital for treatment soon after receiving knife. He lamented that  the doctors over carried out operations twice of the injuries his son.

He alleged during that time on November 20, 2017 the doctor of MMC hospital in Mardan gave report of simple injuries of his son without waiting for the LRH doctor’s report.

He said that his son was admitted at LRH for two months to get treatment. He alleged that police did not take any action against the alleged accused despite of passage of two months so far.

He also blamed that the accused were influential people that was why his grandson who is studying in prep class left the school due to threats of the accused to his family members. He appealed chief justice of Peshawar high court, chief minister KP and police high-ups to take up the matter seriously and provide them speedy justice.
