Salman Khan wants Atif Aslam’s song removed from Notebook

Monitoring Desk

MUMBAI: The news about a terrorist attack that took the life of about 50 Indian Army men in Pulwama has shaken the entire country.

The incident took place on February 14 and several Bollywood stars have come out and spoke openly about what they feel needs to be done. Yesterday evening, All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) issued a blanket ban on all Pakistani artistes and now latest reports suggest that Salman Khan has asked his production house Salman Khan Films who are making Notebook starring Zaheer Iqbal and Pranutan Behl to cut a song from the film.

It was recorded in Pakistani singer Atif Aslam’s voice and hence Salman desired to have it recorded again in an Indian singer’s voice. Directed by Nitin Kakkar, the film is launching two new faces Zaheer Iqbal and Pranutan Behl and has been mostly shot in Kashmir.
