Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy to be remade in Telugu

MUMBAI: Zoya Akhtar is currently basking in the success of her latest release Gully boy starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt. The film has been received well by the audience and the critics alike. A lot of proposals to buy the film rights are coming her way.

According to latest reports, producer Allu Arvind wants to make Gully Boy in Telugu and has decided to cast actor Sai Dharam Tej in it. Though an official announcement hasn’t been made yet, producers down South are keen on remaking Gully Boy.

The film was released on February 14 and within the first few days itself it is has crossed over Rs 75 crore at the box-office. The film is based on the life of the street rappers of Mumbai and has been receiving appreciation from all walks of life.
