Salman Khan’s Bharat earns Rs. 100 in four days

MUMBAI: Salman Khan returned with a special Eidi for his fans in 2019 with Bharat. The project marked his sixth collaboration with Katrina Kaif on the big screen which got fans even more excited for the project.

Despite the film releasing on the day of India’s first World Cup game, it was able to perform exceedingly well at the box-office and went on to become his highest opening day grosser of all time.

The festival of Eid has been a lucky charm of sorts for Salman and Bharat was certainly not an exception. The film managed to collect Rs. 42 crore on the opening day. This thunderous start was followed by Rs. 31 crore, Rs. 22.20 crore and 26.70 crore on day 2, day 3 and day 4 respectively. The total collections of the film currently stand at Rs. 122.20 crore. Looking at the collections, the film is showing absolutely no signs of slowing down and we expect it to cross the Rs. 200 crore mark by the end of this week.

Bharat is the Hindi remake of the Korean film Ode ago My Father. The movie revolves around the titular characters Bharat played by Salman Khan and how the major events in the history of the country made an impact on his life. Have you watched the film yet? Let us know your take in the comments.
