Seven children injured in Uruzgan mortar shell explosion

URUZGAN: As many as seven children were injured in a mortar shell explosion in the Chora district of Uruzgan province.

Niamatullah, relative of the children said to local media the unexploded mortar shell went off when the children played with it. He said five children sustained injuries in the blast.

Hospital officials said that two children were brought to hospital from the blast site and they were in critical condition.
