Six ISIS gunmen killed in US drone strikes in Nangarhar

NANGARHAR: As many as Islamic State of Iraq and Syria militants were killed in a drone strikes conducted by US forces in Nangarhar province of Afghanistan.

The Afghan Military told media that the US forces carried out a series of airstrikes on ISIS hideouts in Khogyani district.

Official added that the ISIS militants were targeted in Zawa area of the district as a result at least six militants was killed.

This comes as counter-terrorism operations and airstrikes are underway in different parts of the country against ISIS and other militant and terrorist groups.
