Six Taliban fighters killed in AAF Airstrikes

KUNDUZ: As many as six Taliban fighters were killed in an airstrike conducted by Afghan Air Force (AAF) in Kunduz province.

A spokesman for 209 Shaheen Military Corps, Nasratullah Jamshidi told local media outlet that Afghan Air Force conducted airstrike against the Taliban fighters in Imam Sahib District of Kunduz province and adding that AAF targeted the Taliban hideouts and killed six Taliban fighters and also injured six others.

Jamshidi added that three safe heavens of insurgents and cache of weapons were destroyed in the airstrikes.    

The Taliban have not yet commented over the airstrike.
