Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar completes shooting of ‘Saand Ki Aankh’

MUMBAI: It is going to be extremely interesting to see two powerful performers of current generation, Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pedenekar, in Tushar Hira nandani’s Saand Ki Aankh.

The film is based on the lives of famous sharpshooters, ChandroTomar and her sister-in-law, PrakashiTomar from Johri village in Baghpat district in Uttar Pradesh. Taapsee and Bhumi have already won hearts with their impressive first look of the film, which was released earlier this month. Today, Taapsee shared the news of wrapping the film on her social media with an emotional post.

 The actress wrote, “And the curtains drop on this one… one word that will come in my mind when I think of #SaandKiAankh will be ‘conviction’. The one word that brought so many hearts and mind under this beautiful umbrella. Saying goodbye isn’t my forte… so I walk away after packup leaving a piece of my heart with this ‘family’s forever n ever!” The actress shared one more picture of the accessories of her character donned in the film and wrote, “#PrakashiTomar you will live in me forever n ever!”

Taapsee and Bhumi bonded really well on the sets of the film and we have seen their bond in their social media posts. Bhumi also shared pictures from the sets on her Instagram page and wrote an emotional post, “Name- ChandroTomar. Age 65 years.Profession- mother, grandmother & sharp shooter. She will always and forever be a part of me 🙂 #ChandroTomar #SaandKiAankh ” In her next post she shared a picture with director TusharHiranandani and Taapsee writing, “Some goodbyes are so tough”

Saand Ki Aankh is slated to release on Diwali this year and it’s going to clash with a biggie like Akshay Kumar’s multi starrer Housefull 4.
