KUNDUZ: One Afghan border police official was injured when Taliban fighters attacked the post in the Chah Aab district of Takhar province and took control of the post.
Spokesman of Takhar police, Abdul Khalil Aseer told that Taliban fighters attacked the border police post on Wednesday night and captured it after a heavy clash with border forces.
Aseer added that border forces retreated after offering hard resistance to the Taliban gunmen and adding that operation against the militants was launched to retake the post.
He confirmed that one police official was injured in the clashes. Taliban did not say any word in this regard.
