24 Afghan security forces killed in Urzugan clashes

URZUGAN: As many as 24 Afghan security forces were killed in the last four days in clashes with the Taliban fighters in central Uruzgan province.

The local officials confirmed on Thursday the clashes was continue from the past four days in Chora district of the province in which 18 army soldiers and six policemen were killed.

He added that at least 30 Taliban fighters were also killed in clashes and adding that the arrival of reinforcements, the forces retaken the areas which were fallen to Taliban.

The Taliban have confirmed the clash.
