KUNDUZ: Taliban gunmen killed five local police in the Dasht-e-Archi district of Kunduz province, officials said Thursday. The Taliban gunmen attacked local police posts in the Haji Mohib and Amir Muhammad areas of Dasht-e-Archi district last night, said Nasruddin Nazari, administrator of the same district. In the ensuing clashes, he told AIP, five police were killed and two more wounded, adding they had no details of Taliban casualties. Local residents, however, said the number of police casualties were higher.
There was no word by Taliban in this regard.
