Targeted raids: Rangers arrest five suspects in Karachi

KARACHI: Rangers arrested five suspected criminals including a political party member in raids conducted in different areas of the city on Friday.  

Ranger’s spokesman told media that Rangers conducted raid in Model Colony and arrested a Mutahida Qaumi Movement-London, political party activist identified as Zakir Hussain Tayaan. The arrested accused was allegedly involved in target killing and other crimes.

Similarly, Rangers team arrested one Muhammad Sharif and he was allegedly affiliated with Zahid Ladla group of Lyari gang war and also wanted to police in target killing, extortion and other crimes.

In another raid conducted Rangers team arrested alleged robber identified as Abdul Suleman, who was wanted to police for several robbery cases.

Rangers also raided in Shah Faisal Colony and Preedy area of Karachi and arrested drug sellesr namely Faisal Anwar and Muhammad Rasheed and drugs, weapons and contraband were allegedly recovered from their possession.
