Terrorism is national issue to be dealt with collective efforts, says Saif

PESHAWAR: The recent spike of targeted attacks on security forces, customs in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is a national issue, with collective efforts of the government, police, Army and other law enforcement agencies we can overcome the menace of terrorism, Barrister Dr Saif says here on Thursday.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Advisor on Information and Public Relations Barrister Dr Saif has said that terrorism is national issue, police, security forces and other law enforcement agencies are fighting war against terrorism.

He stated that hundreds of civilian and security forces have loss their lives during the recent terrorists attacks. Police and security forces remain determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve.

He reiterated that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government and the entire province stood with the security forces in the war against terrorism.

He stressed that we will fight the war against terrorism and militancy with political responsibility and collective wisdom.

Barrister Dr Saif said the Police, Army and law enforcement agencies are resolutely committed to eliminating the scourge of terrorism in the province.

He added that the war against terrorism would continue until the menace was completely eradicated from the province.
