Three ANF personnel injured in Quetta raid

F.P. Report

QUETTA: Three Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) personnel were injured Tuesday in firing by drug smugglers during a raid on a hotel in Quetta.

A team of the ANF raided a hotel near Western Bypass in Quetta on the locals’ complaint against the hotel owners.

The locals had accused the hotel owners of selling drugs under the guise of the hotel business.

As the ANF team raided the hotel, the accused opened fire and left three ANF personnel injured.

A truck driver passing by was also injured in firing by the accused who managed to escape the scene, leaving a bag of drugs behind.

The ANF team seized the bag carrying 4kg of hashish. “All resources are being used to arrest the accused,” the ANF spokesperson said.
