Three cops killed in Badghis

HERAT: Three police personnel were killed and as many more wounded as Taliban attacked a security checkpoint in Qadis district in Badghis province.

Taliban attacked a police outpost in Khair Khana area in Qadis district, leaving three cops dead and three more injured, Badghis security in-charge Ghulam Sarwar Haidari said. Meanwhile, Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack and their spokesman Qari M. Yousaf Ahmadi said three police personnel including their commander Giraftar were killed and four more injured in the gunfight.
