Six die, seven injured in blast

HERAT: Dozens of people were killed and injured in a huge blast in Shindand district in Herat province of Afghanistan on Monday.

Explosives planted in a rickshaw exploded in Shindand district bazaar, leaving six civilians dead and seven more injured, Herat’s governor’s spokesman Jilani Farhad told Afghan media outlet. However, eyewitnesses said 15 persons were killed and 20 more injured in the blast. No one claimed responsibility for the blast till the filling of this report.
