ASTORE: At least three people were killed in separate incidents in tehsil Darel and Chillas of Diamir district, police said.
In tehsil Darel’s village Samigal a man named Ejazul Hah allegedly killed his sister and a youth named Jan Bahadur in the name of honor. Darel police have constituted a special team to arrest the accused however no arrest has so far been made.
In Chillas tehsil a man identifies as Maqsood shot dead a 22-year-old youth named Sher Bahadu after a brief verbal brawl. Chillas police have registered a case and search for the accused was underway. SP Diamir, Rai Ajmal in his brief talk with media said police were making concentrated efforts to arrest the accused in both cases and hoped that very soon they will be behind the bars.
